From Japanese publisher Furyu, we now have these two Lost Age Prize PVC Figures, from the franchise’s main stars Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

These are not your standard Transformers, since they’re not action figures. They’re actually PVC model kits that need assembly. It’s fairly easy though, if you can transform any Voyager class figure, you’ll have no issue with these.

We like the dynamic poses most, Optimus with his sword held high, and Bumblebee in a running pose, charging headlong into the enemy.

What more can you expect from these – they are prize figures, so the paintjob is good. Not fantastic, but good. Size-wise, they are between a Deluxe and a Voyager class, but their base does give them that extra presence on your shelf.

All in all, we really like them. Not as much as we like out mascot Ironhide, but then again, that’s an unfair comparison, like comparing Autobots to Decepticons.
