Henry Cavil Shared Behind The Scenes JL Footage
🚨 VIEWER WARNING! FOR ALL THOSE NEW EYES OUT THERE, I SHALL BE DRAWING THE CURTAIN BACK A WEE BIT IN THIS POST. VIEW AT YOUR OWN PERIL 🚨 If you are still here...let me show you behind the scenes on Justice League! Stunt team magic bringing Supes to life, John Williams and Hans Zimmer raising him to those lofty heights.....and then there's me, who channelling a little bit of Spiderman with my hands.... #Superman #JusticeLeague #SpiderHands
Henry Cavill shared a really cool look behind the scenes of the Justice League movie. You can check out the footage above, which shows the actor practice his flying skills for Superman on a green screen contraption.
I think this is very interesting to see, as it shows how much fluidity of movement and grace this machine allow Henry to show while doing flying scenes. Makes me wish for that Man of Steel sequel even more.
While we are talking MoS2, there are rumors going around that Cavill is currently working out and keeping his schedule for the rest of the year free for the filming of exactly that movie, which might get announced at SDCC18 in a month. I really hope that is true, as I cannot get enough of this version of Superman!
Kevin Feige Talks Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel is the first MCU movie of 2019 and also the first female led Marvel Studios movie of all time, plus the movie that will lead back into Avengers 4, the sequel to Infinity War, so of course all eyes are on it.
At a press conference for Ant-Man & The Wasp, Kevin Feige was asked about further into on the film.
"You already know as much as you need to. We've got Skrulls, we've got the Kree, it takes place in the 90s, you have Sam Jackson with two eyes and Carol Danvers, a unique telling of Carol Danvers origin story. We are about two weeks out from completion of principal photography."
Captain Marvel is still 10 months out, so there is plenty left to be revealed, but at the same time the movie is also inching closer and closer every day.
You guys excited?
The Batman Solo Movie A Reboot?
After the movie undergoing and almost endless line of changes, like Affleck directing/not directing and now maybe returning as Batman/maybe not, there is still not a lot known about the upcoming and long awaited Matt Reeves directed movie. It is not even clear if the film will take place in the same universe as the other DC movies at the moment, if it will do its own universe, or if it might tie into the universe of the solo Joker origins movie, that might go before cameras in September.
Now according to the El Fanboy Podcast, there is some movement on the film, that looks like this:
"So essentially, they want to develop this Batman movie as if it is a reboot, as if it's all new. But they're not gonna make any overt statements about it, they're just gonna make a movie about a younger Batman, who - I believe it takes place in the past, which will create a backdoor for if they ever do want to cross-pollinate him with the other DC characters again. ... They're going to make Batman as his own standalone franchise, they're gonna basically start him over again to a degree, but they're going to leave a back door open so that, depending on how the next few DC movies do, from there, they can decide which continuity he's a part of and whether or not they're gonna push forward on the shared concept and do more crossover movies."
I think that is a smart move, to be honest. Just make a great movie first and worry about tie ins later, if at all.
I really hope we will get at least an official announcement of what actor will play the Bat at SDCC would be nice. Would go along way to give fans some faith in the project back.
New Ant-Man & The Wasp Trailer
Check out the newest, hilarious and final trailer for the MCU's Ant-Man & The Wasp, above!
Very much like the first movie, with this one I was very meh about everything at the start of the marketing, but this trailer really makes me excited and I might end up loving this one as much as the first one, in the end. Are you guys excited for Ant-Man & the Wasp?
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
Avengers Writers Tried To Use M.O.D.O.K. In Infinity War
M.O.D.O.K. must be among the most weird and also most excitedly awaited Marvel characters ever, for the MCU! Turns out, the writers for the current Avengers movies already tried working him into Infinity War, as Christopher Marcus revealed recently!
"I've wanted to put M.O.D.O.K. in, and it's very hard to go 'here's the supporting character the giant head'.' And then we're going to get on with the story. We just came to him for information. Like you kind of have to design the whole movie around the guy with the giant head."
"I have love for M.O.D.O.K. and I still think properly done he'd be terrifying. Like you look all the way down the hall and like this huge head comes around the corner and starts coming and...oh, it would be awesome."
I think it could be either very hilarious, or very, very terrifying and I cannot wait to find out! I don't think we will see him in Avengers 4, but maybe after that? Who knows?!
